NEW APPOINTMENTS TO THE FRIENDS’ COMMITTEE – a message from the Chairman

Our long-serving and committed Treasurer, Nevill Brooke, and Secretary, John Gummerson, are stepping down from their roles on the FoPH Committee. On behalf of all the members of FoPH I would like to thank them both for their support and enthusiasm to the organisation and hope they can enjoy their well earned rest. John, thankfully, will continue to manage the FoPH website.

I would also like to announce the co-opting of four new Officers onto the Committee, who will be officially appointed at our next AGM on a date soon to be agreed. They are:-

Stephen Cummins – Secretary

Tim Howes – Vice Chairman

Graham Marris – Treasurer

Richard Phillips – Membership Secretary

I would like to thank Stephen, Tim, Graham, and Richard for responding so enthusiastically to the call for new Officers. By volunteering they ensure the continuing role of FoPH in supporting our dedicated band of volunteers and the important conservation work they carry out over the year on behalf of the Town Council, the local community and our increasingly important wild life and habitat.

Richard Warton (Chairman)
